In this workshop, we will look at the art form of storytelling, with emphasis on being viewed through the lens of improvisation. Many formats now tap into the 'truthful' or 'personal' to give the work depth. We will explore listening and composition through play. We will work on organic narrative – telling one story as a group – inspired by audience, objects, and architecture of the space. We will use the tools of improvisation to free the creative juices, to tell and listen with the whole body. while strengthening our character work, through observation, stage presence and projection. We will work with the personal story, and together we’ll explore with how to find those beautiful ‘seeds of story'
